MEDITATION FOR MOMS with  LAUREN GIBBONS   What are you holding in your body? Your body doesn’t lie. Your mind can tell you that you’re fine or push you to soldier on. But, your body will tell you when you’re tired and when you need to rest. Beyond injuries and illness, anything going on emotionally will show up in your body as stickiness, stuck energy, soreness or tightness. But, with a finite amount of hours in a day, a family to take care of and work to do, it’s not always possible to find moments of quiet so you can tap into that deep inner wisdom of your body...and truly listen to its guidance. In this 75-minute special offering, Lauren will provide you a quiet and peaceful space for you to notice and feel. You’ll be guided through a series of lying and seated meditations to help you connect to your body, heart and deep inner wisdom. You’ll learn breathing exercises and visualizations to help you slow down and find calm and peace within you, so that you can approach motherhood with more patience and ease. Lauren will guide you through a series of short seated meditations and journal prompts to help you find peace and acceptance of your body, as it is today. She calls these “body love notes.” Finally, you'll end with a long, supported Yoga Nidra - “Yogic Sleep” so you that  can rest deeply and relax fully. Please bring a yoga mat, journal, pen and an open mind    FRIDAYS AT 7PM : MAY 18TH
