MAMA YOGA: Yoga for Moms with  LAUREN GIBBONS : " Nurture Me, Nurture You!" Claim the time for you to receive & to build your strength and stamina... You will have so much more presence, strength, and peace in your day to day. Self-care is not optional when you are a Mom. This class will assist you in regaining your core and overall strength, rebuilding your pelvic floor and connecting with your body and inner wisdom after birth. Lauren focuses on breathing techniques and mindful movement to help you connect to your core and pelvic floor muscles. She will guide you in stretching muscles that are tight and over-used from nursing/feeding, carrying and rocking your baby, while strengthening muscles that tend to be weak in new mamas. Expect to receive personal attention and great care from Lauren in these classes. The focus is on YOU.  Thursdays at 7:30pm ( one-hour)   June 7th  July 12th   August 19th    Please consult with your Midwife/OBGYN before returning to yoga. Typically the recommendation is to wait at least four weeks for a vaginal birth and six weeks for a cesarean birth.
